Closet full and nothing to wear?
How conscious is your closet?
Answer the 10 questions below to find out. And we'll send you the surprising limiting beliefs that keep us in the frustrating buy/purge cycle.
Our Society's current addiction to cheap clothing is depleting resources and harms everyone.
Women buy the majority of clothes, for themselves and their families, and the vast majority - 80% - of apparel workers across the globe are women. But men are still the ultimate decision-makers.
Our society's current addiction to cheap clothing is depleting the earth's resources, harms the people who make them, and isn't making us feel better either.
At Koryphae, we are using our passion for fashion as a vehicle for change and to empower women and girls worldwide.
Letter from the Founder
And welcome. I’m so glad you’re here!
I spent 20 years in the industry which gave me so incredibly much: Experiences, friendships, travel, growth.
While I loved my job, I was conflicted about the impact my job made on the planet. I also realized that we, as a society, have an unhealthy relationship with clothing. In fact, since starting to work as a designer, our consumption doubled. Of the 32bio items of clothing produced each year, an astonishing 63% end up - never worn - in landfills.
In 2018 I left the industry and embarked on a three-year-long journey into healing and self-discovery after my daughter fell inexplicably ill (I even wrote a chapter in a best selling book about it) and emerged with a vision and a mission to use my experience as a vehicle for women’s empowerment and to help facilitate change.
I believe that if we invest in women, we change the future. And we need to address the root cause of our consumption problem: The way we relate to ourselves and in extension to our clothes.
That’s why Koryphae is not just a sustainable and ethical clothing line, it’s a movement to re-align our relationship with the clothes we wear and ourselves. So that we are able to defy trends, sales, and BOGOs. That we develop our own unique style and radiate confidence. When our clothes are a reflection of who we are, getting dressed each morning becomes a ritual of empowerment. I believe you will then be a woman who believes that taking care of yourself is an expression of self-love.
You'll have a full closet - and plenty to wear.
Thank you for taking the quiz. I hope it sparked something in you.
